Nomad Trust Shop

The Nomad Trust charity shop was opened in 1990 in order to raise funds for the Trust. Since then it has been an integral part of the Nomad service, taking in donations and raising money for the shelter. Through the shop, our service users can access free clothing and also bedding and kitchen packs when they move into their own accommodation.

The shop provides a valuable service, being one of the cheapest charity shops in Lincoln. The shop has recently moved from its previous address on Monks Road to a new shop on Sincil Street in the centre of town.

The move to a larger premises has allowed the shop to sell furniture as well as the usual items such as clothes, bric-a-brac, linen etc.

There is a large bank of volunteers who are essential to the continued running of the shop; without the volunteers we wouldn’t be able to keep the shop open. One of the shop volunteers has been part of our team since 1989 and continues to volunteer for us twice a week.

The shop takes donations of good quality items. Donations by hand are welcome however if you would like to drop off from your car, parking restrictions prevents donations being dropped off between 10am and 4pm.

If you would like to contact the shop with regards to donating goods, please call: (01522) 883700
