Main Purpose of the job

To use Facebook, Twitter and other social media to improve the profile of the Furniture Project

Responsible to

The Volunteer Manager

Specific tasks

  1. To help keep the Project social media up to date to improve sales
  2. To improve the use of social media within the project
  3. To be available to help within the Project if required on volunteering days
  4. Maintain a professional approach
  5. To be tidy and presentable
  6. Assist staff as requested

• To follow Health & Safety guidelines at all times.

• To complete timesheet and any other paperwork that may be required relevant to a task.

• To report to the staff on duty any defects in fixtures and fittings.

• To assist in keeping premises clean and tidy, with equipment stored safely and securely.

• To help foster good neighbour and community relationships within the local area

• To work within the aims and ethos of the Nomad Trust.

No volunteers are asked to carry out tasks outside of their abilities.

Previous experience required

Knowledge of social media is required
