Main Purpose of the job

To assist in marketing the Nomad Furniture Project primarily and possibly the Nomad Trust as a whole.

Responsible to

The Volunteer Manager

Specific tasks

1. To come up with new ways of marketing the Furniture Project
2. To follow through on any marketing  ideas under the guidance of the Volunteer Manager
3. To be available to help within the Project if required on volunteering days
4. To assist in the marketing of the charity as a whole
5. Possibility of attending and performing talks
6. Maintain a professional approach
7. To be tidy and presentable
8. Assist staff as requested

• To follow Health & Safety guidelines at all times.

• To complete timesheet and any other paperwork that may be required relevant to a task.

• To report to the staff on duty any defects in fixtures and fittings.

• To help foster good neighbour and community relationships within the local area

• To work within the aims and ethos of the Nomad Trust.

No volunteers are asked to carry out tasks outside of their abilities.

Previous experience required

Marketing experience is preferable
Position would be ideal for a Marketing student looking for a project.
