Gardening Volunteer - To assist service users in gardening projectsResponsible to
The Volunteer Manager and any other staff presentSpecific tasks
- To work with service users in planning what they would like to grow
- To assist service users with the gardening
- Give encouragement and be positive in supporting the service users.
- Maintain service user confidentiality outside The Nomad Trust.
- Maintain a professional approach.
- Assist other staff as requested.
- To follow Health & Safety guidelines at all times.
- To complete timesheet and any other paperwork that may be required relevant to a task.
- To report to the staff on duty any defects in fixtures and fittings.
- To assist in keeping premises clean and tidy, with equipment stored safely and securely.
- To help foster good neighbour and community relationships within the local area
- To work within the aims and ethos of the Nomad Trust.
No volunteers are asked to carry out tasks outside of their abilities.
