Furniture Project Volunteer - To work together as a team to organise donations.Responsible to
The Project Supervisor and Shop Manager.Specific tasks
- To move and store furniture
- To assist on the van (collections and deliveries) if required
- To assist with the loading and unloading of furniture
- To help with the organization of the furniture store
- Maintain a professional approach
- Assist staff and other volunteers as requested
- To follow Health & Safety guidelines at all times.
- To complete timesheet and any other paperwork that may be required relevant to a task.
- To report to the staff on duty any defects in fixtures and fittings.
- To assist in keeping premises clean and tidy, with equipment stored safely and securely.
- To help foster good neighbour and community relationships within the local area
- To work within the aims and ethos of the Nomad Trust.
No volunteers are asked to carry out tasks outside of their abilities.
