Main Purpose of the job

To carry out basic office duties and serve customers

Responsible to

The Project Supervisor and Shop Manager

Specific tasks

  1. To answer the phone in a professional manner
  2. To carry out computer tasks
  3. To schedule the van for collections/deliveries
  4. To serve customers in a polite manner
  5. Maintain a professional approach and clean and tidy appearance.
  6. Assist other staff/volunteers as required.

• To follow Health & Safety guidelines at all times.

• To complete timesheet and any other paperwork that may be required relevant to a task.

• To report to the staff on duty any defects in fixtures and fittings.

• To assist in keeping premises clean and tidy, with equipment stored safely and securely.

• To help foster good neighbour and community relationships within the local area

• To work within the aims and ethos of the Nomad Trust.

No volunteers are asked to carry out tasks outside of their abilities.
