Day services volunteer - The Nomad Trust

Specific tasks

To clean and clear out the bedrooms

To tidy and clean the night shelter hub

To clean and mop out the smoke room

To clean the bathrooms

To carry out any maintenance work needed

To carry out monthly building checks in the shelter and offices

Maintain service user confidentiality outside The Nomad Trust.

Maintain a professional approach.

Assist other staff as requested.

To follow Health & Safety guidelines at all times.

To complete timesheet and any other paperwork that may be required relevant to a task.

To report to the staff on duty any defects in fixtures and fittings.

To assist in keeping premises clean and tidy, with equipment stored safely and securely.

To help foster good neighbour and community relationships within the local area

To work within the aims and ethos of the Nomad Trust.

No volunteers are asked to carry out tasks outside of their abilities.

The Nomad Trust Night Shelter is in need of the following items urgently: Tinned meats and fish Baked beans Tinned tomatoes Pasta sauces
